SUMMARY:The First Ever Antigua and Barbuda Corner at Notting Hill Carnival
DESCRIPTION:This Bank Holiday Monday\, ABNA UK is proud to launch the first ever Antigua & Barbuda Corner at the 60th Notting Hill Carnival. \n📅 Monday 31 August 2026 | 12pm–7pm\n📍 Elkstone Road (next to Meanwhile Gardens Playhut\, W10 5NT) \nFor the first time\, we are creating a dedicated space for Antiguans\, Barbudans\, friends and supporters to come together in the heart of Carnival with our flags flying high\, our music playing and our community represented. \nThe launch of Antigua & Barbuda Corner is dedicated to Kelso Cochrane\, who was born in Antigua in 1926 and would have turned 100 years old this year. As Notting Hill Carnival celebrates 60 years\, it is an honour to remember Kelso Cochrane’s legacy in this way and ABNA UK would like to thank the Kelso Cochrane family for their support. \nCome join us\, bring good vibes and be part of history. \nGetting there \nWestbourne Park is the closest Underground station to the Elkstone Road area and is served by the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. However\, Carnival travel arrangements are different from a normal weekend: from 11am there is no entry to Westbourne Park station\, so it should not be relied upon for your journey. \nNotting Hill Carnival recommends Paddington as the easiest and least crowded route into and out of Carnival\, with signed walking routes in place.
